What it costs

Every package is a one-time setup fee plus a monthly. The setup covers building and testing the system against your real data. The monthly covers running it, watching it, and fixing it when something underneath it changes — an app update, a new service you start offering, a form that moved.

Month to month after the first 90 days. Thirty days’ notice to stop.

The Arithmetic

Does it pay for itself?

It only makes sense if it does, so here is the maths in the open rather than buried in a proposal. Two ways this pays back: hours you stop spending, and money that stops falling through.

4 hrs / wk

A typical reporting ritual

Four hours a week of someone pulling numbers into a spreadsheet is roughly 200 hours a year. At any wage you would actually pay, Core costs less than that.

$5,000+

Sitting in aged invoices

Most small businesses are carrying this or more in unanswered quotes and invoices past sixty days. Surfacing it once tends to cover the whole first year.

$300–900

One service call you nearly missed

An HVAC call is worth this. A roofing job that closes is worth five figures. One a month covers Starter several times over.

The honest version: if the work you want automated takes somebody twenty minutes a month, it is not worth my setup fee and I will say so on the free call rather than sell you a package.

“Isn’t there software that already does this?”

Often, yes, and I will tell you which ones are decent. Missed-call text-back runs $20–300 a month off the shelf. There are invoice-chasing tools, reporting tools, recruiting tools. If you are comfortable picking them, wiring them to your systems, keeping five subscriptions straight and fixing whichever one broke this week — buy the software. That is a real answer.

The catch is that off-the-shelf tools each solve one slice and none of them know about the others, so you end up paying five subscriptions and still re-keying data between them. What I build is one system that fits how you already work.

What you are paying me for instead:

If your time is worth more than the difference, this is the better deal. If it is not, buy the software — that is a real answer and I would rather give it to you than take your money.

Questions about the money

Why a setup fee and a monthly?

The setup is real work — mapping how the process actually runs today, writing the logic, connecting it to your systems, testing it against live data. The monthly is not rent on software. The tools underneath change, your business changes, and things need tuning once real people start using them. The monthly is me keeping it working.

Is there a contract?

A 90-day initial term, so the system has time to be worth judging, then month to month with 30 days’ notice. No multi-year agreement, no auto-renewing annual term.

What if I just want one piece of it?

That is exactly what Starter is for — one automation, built properly, so you can judge whether the rest is worth doing. Most people start there and add a second area once the first is paying for itself.

Do the packages cover any of the areas?

Yes. The tiers describe how much gets built, not which kind. Core is three automations whether that is missed calls, invoice chasing and a weekly report, or three pieces of your hiring pipeline.

Are there costs that are not yours?

Usually yes, and they are small. A business phone line and the messaging service behind it are billed by the provider, typically $20–40 a month. If a build needs a paid tool you do not already have, I tell you the number before we start. I do not mark those up.

Do I have to be near you?

No. Custom automation is built against your systems rather than your office, so this runs remotely across the continental U.S. If you happen to be in Connecticut, or in Westchester, Putnam or Dutchess county in New York, I will come out in person for the discovery session at no extra charge — it is worth an hour of your time and mine.
